a lake. |

Fresh asparagus,
bedding plants, hanging baskets, planters, Geraniums, Herbs, and vegetable
plants. |

We are closed most of June but we re-open once the sweet corn is ready.

Summer Season- |
|
Fresh Sweet Corn
picked early in the morning. BEST IN NORTHWEST INDIANA! Other vegetables grown
and sold here at our farm... Beets, Cabbage, Cucumbers, Egg Plant, Kohl Rabi,
Melons (Watermelon & Cantaloupe), Okra, Peppers (mild & hot), Pickles, Squash (summer & fall), Tomatoes,
Zucchini. |

Last week of September
thru October 31st we have
Pumpkins, Indian Corn, Corn Shocks, Bales of Straw, Gourds, Apples, Apple Cider,
and
Fall Decorations.
Saturdays and Sundays-
Free
hayrides to the pumpkin patch to choose your own pumpkin. Ride the hayride
to the pumpkin patch and get your pumpkin weighed for 20¢ a pound. We also have a
kid's size corn maze, pony rides,
face painting, and food served by the United Methodist Church of Wanatah. There
is also a big corn maze that covers 4 acres. Money raised from the corn maze
goes to the United Methodist Church of Door Village Youth Group.
School Specials-
Mondays
thru Fridays during school you can bring your class here on a field trip! You
get a free ride out to a SPECIAL pumpkin patch just for school kids. Call to get
more info or to schedule a class trip. The kids can play in
the yard going through our mini corn maze, take pictures in our cut out
characters, and play on the wooden train. And to finish it all off you can take a class picture in front of
our BIG PUMPKIN!
Another thing we just added is some games kids can play.
We are also working on getting some coloring images that teachers can print out
for their class to color in. These coloring pages can be found by going to our
Teacher's Page. |
